Orange probs sending / receiving e-mail ?

Anyone else getting these probs? What about e-mail alert, got it activated on my a/C but it's not happening. Thought I'd ask here before talking to ermmmm...'very nice knowledgeable' customer service.

I know orange has probs at the mo... all of the sytem was down for about 4 hrs on weds night
