Default Buying a scrapper?

I'm looking at getting some bits off a car which is due to be scrapped. The seller won't let me take bits off it though, I have to take the whole car.

It isn't taxed or MOT'd - how can I get rid of the car after I have taken the bits I need? Its around the brighton area.

Thoughts so far:
1. Take the parts, Dump it
2. Take the parts, tow it to Tesco, leave it there
3. Take the car itself, then deal with the scrappers later
4. Let it get stolen.

Any ideas peeps?

The ONLY decent (I assume you are a decent fella ) solution is to buy it, take the parts you want and then take it to your local scrapyard.

The other options costs the council (or insurance companies) money which in turn costs the rest of us more in council tax (or insurance premiums).

Set to it with an angle grinder or stihl saw, and reduce it to small(ish) pieces. Take small pieces to your local waste centre and drop them in the scrap metal skip.

That's how i reduced a scrap sierra after i'd plundered doner parts off it for a kit car. Quite enjoyed doing it too.

I thought there was some new environmental legislation that required scrap yards to take the vehicles off you without charge?

This system is certainly in place in Leeds.

Your local firestation may take it off your hand's, they always seem to be willing to take donated cars to practice there techniques on, round here they do anyway.

I'd rather do that than dumping it at tesco's and having some ******'s set it on fire, thus involving the firebrigade, then the local authority to get it removed.
(costs the council (or insurance companies) money which in turn costs the rest of us more in council tax (or insurance premiums).
