Me Messing about on boats and chillin' by the river isn't too bad when the sun is shining but it's a bit rubbish when it's raining, so then I just go indoors and surf scoobynet or watch telly

Consultant to a multi national oil company- I advise them on their IT strategy. The job itself is like most jobs, you sell yourself and your time when you'd much rather be say down the beach. However the terms and conditions are what makes it so special, I work around 20 hrs a week, 40days holiday a yr, get my apartment/garage paid for, get a car allowance and travel expenses and an unbelievable benefits package. I also try to do as little as humanly possible.
So I look forward to each week as it's more cash in the bank for doing sod all, the corporate gravy train is great.

I enjoy being a firefighter. It also makes a difference the fact that my work colleagues are good mates who I see socially as well.

I work in the Business Solutions team at Scottish Enterprise. It was originally an administration role but have been involved in policy and product development, restructure of the Client Management Process and have taken over Investors in People. I was able to do this because of my time spent at the DTI/Small Business Service And I am only into my second month, so I am still in the honey moon period

If I hadn't ended up doing what I do now then Firefighter (I prefer the title of Fireman but what do I know) would have been the career for me too.

Lots of friends of mine do the job now and they are a top bunch of lads, the only thing I don't fancy is all the car wrecks. Driving the appliance though, must be a real adrenalin pumper.

i loved being a car valeter for 5 years but only in the summer
my brother and 3/4 of my good matesall worked in the same place

i dont mind my current job making nissan car seats, the lads inthe factorycrack onand contantly takethe **** out of each other, you wont survive if youcant wind people up, so i fit in perfectly

on my first ever day, when were supposed to stand up infront of the group and say our names and where we had came from, i did mine and "forgot " that it was a new job and not a alcohol abuse group, and stood upand told everybody on how i was abused and had turned to drink, it went down a storm, talk about breaking the ice, it took about 30 seconds for the 1st person to start creasing up, for a small moment in time (30 secs) i thought i was doomed for life
lmfao!!

its been non stop fun and games ever scince

Thats where you are lucky, having family over there. They can sponsor you. There is an exchange scheme, might give that a bash as a foot in the door type thing.

I get to work in my recording studio on projects I design/write.

Then, when I'm done, I get to go into my local college and teach what I do as a hobby as a second profession.

Great money, brilliant holidays, and massive rewards (when something charts )

I also then get to spend more time with my wife & kids. Bring on the Summer

Dan (ain't life tough??)

Cave guide (duing hols, full time student otherwise). The only downside is some school groups who are more interested in the nearest chippy to where they are staying than the cave itself!!!

Thumbs up

Overhead Linesman. I like my job a great deal (well 99% of the time), especially as it allows me to work in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire.

Ahh, happy days.

You guys are far too serious.

I'm a pi$$ artist, does that count?

My other jobs include muff diving, Xbox playing and making petfood.

(I'll fetch my coat)
