How much would a secondhand pair cost?

i would think you could be able to pick up a pair for about £120 or so, but there doesn't seem to be all that many of this model about. ebay is goot for s/h hi-fi but expect to pay quite a high proportion of the new value for good quality items. i just won an auction paying £500 for a meridian unit that's last list price was £795, for example.

So if I got a pair for £60 it would be a "cheap as chips" bargain would it?

i would say £60 would be a cracking deal, if they are in fair or good condition. AFAIK the new price was £200, and they were very well regarded at that money. in fact, if you don't want 'em for 60 notes just tell me where they are!
