You CAN get in trouble for this.........most cops dont mind but there are numerous offences that can be called into play. Car parks are deemed as public places for some traffic law.
Just be careful and have fun. I know I am.........

Ditto to the above. Use your common sense.
I've just finished a night shift and visited a few desolate car parks purely checking the surface for friction in the interests of safety!!!

You need to be a little careful as road traffic law now applies to all places to which the public have access and not just to the roads. So, while Tesco's carpark used to be safe because there was nothing the police could do they can now nip in and slap something like dangerous driving on you.
I am sure that most police officers are not going to be at all inclined to take such action but watch out for the jobsworth.
The other thing to note is that if jobsworth does come into your carpark be sure to be polite to him. Behaving as if there is nothing he can do about it is probably likely to encourage him to prove that there is something he can do about it :-)
