Ken wants cameras
In residential areas, most of scoobynet supports driving slowly. So surely cameras are better than humps, which damage your car?
Or do you just think that they are revenue raisers, wherever they are?

Get rid of ALL road markings instead.
This was done in some village somewhere and traffic slowed considerably, accidents were way down as drivers had to think for themselves and thus drove according to the road.
Yeah, won't stop loonies but neither does anything else, apart from the lesser spotted traffic officer.

Dracoro - like that idea.
Personally I like the speed humps in Loughborough. They are square blocks rather than full width so the ambulances etc can straddle them and be un-affected. Fortunately the scoob is the perfect width so I don't go over them either

Hate speed bumps.
Would really hate to be having a heart attack, while the ambulance crawled along the road at 15mph to get over the speed bumps. Must have happened to some poor sod.

Cameras are much better. It would be good to have them in the right place for once.
Humps do cause long term damage, the G forces put into the suspension and body are quite large and rapid acting and put a much larger strain on the car than was envisaged by the designers.

I quite like speed bumps.. you can either do Dukes of Hazzard style leaps with them.. or take it slowly and practice doing burnouts between them..
(that was a joke by the way)
