Hmm... an interesting one tonight, given that I sold a restored flat in Clifton, Bristol last year and have been looking around for building plots in exactly the part of Wales they are searching in.

I know both territories and markets pretty well, and I'll be interested in what they can find with a total budget of only 250K for both properties.

They're dreaming!

Besides that, what the hell does he do to be able to borrow at 300k??
they're not gonna sell the other house, just use the equity in it!

I missed the start so I don't really understand where the money is coming from. they *are* dreaming on their budget. That auction small hold will go for a lot more than 150K that's for sure.

They didn't get the auction house, they paid 239.950 fior the one with 14 acres. the house in milton keynes is still theirs, so the mortgage must be huge!!

That 'house' on Grand Designs was horrible, like a cross between a restaurant and a prison.

Agreed. I would prefer the small holding in Wales anytime. I had enough of London a while back.
