A34 Just north of Milton...major "detection" exercise going on:

Saw two speed camera wagons (one over the Southbound on a bridge, the other parked up in a lay-by Northbound), two cars and at least 4 bikes on patrol on a 3 mile stretch...the bikes looked they were pulling the offenders over

If they are photographing speeders, there is no need to chase after them to pull them over....

I assumed it was for speeding as I drove past at precisely 73mph ...maybe it wasnt, but the van on the bridge was the standard "extra windowed" variety, with what I think was some form of "speed kills" or similar notice on the side. The other looked like a standard transit with the rear doors open and quite a few coppers around it.

The bikers were zipping up and down, but admittedly I didnt see anyone pulled over as I came past.

Regardless of what they were pulling for, I wouldnt want to have come across them doing 95.

I slowed down as I am always paranoid about any van on a bridge!
