The photo competitions have generated a lot of great images - but of course, only so many end up as competition entries. Use this thread to post images that you'd like to share but for whatever reason didn't make it into the competition.
I'll start: several people have asked whether it's normal to have to take loads and loads of photos before coming up with a good one. The answer's 'yes', and here's a typical reason why - it's an out-take from 'endgame', somewhat overexposed, my finger didn't get out of the way quickly enough and the strobe was too fast. Many shots later I eventually got it right

yup i did a few for motion too lol it was only after i'd done the first 10 or so and looked at htem on pc, that i saw i'd
not cleaned the fluff off my watch, do'oh

I remember asking you was it normal to take so many pics
here are a couple of mine for the last compo
This was about the 100th attempt at trying to throw a dart, and capture it midflight whilst taking the picture too !!, I gave up in the end, as my dart throwing was clearly quite bad
