Credit card authorization online (webshop)
#1
Ok,
Picture this. I'm an employed sole trader who wants to do credit card authorizations online, but I don't want to go through the hassle of getting a business account (business premises still uncertain).
Basically, I have this internet shop software and I want to be able to pass all the authentication of CC to some third party, where I never have to collect the CC details. All I want to do is give them an amount to charge, and then they will charge the buyer the amount and credit me the money. I don't mind writing some small perl-script or whatever it takes to make this work.
Also, I've had a look at worldpay, but it's just hideously expensive for my little web shop at 240 pounds per year before any transactions.
Does anyone do a smaller set-up fee, but higher transaction fee (I don't really mind the transaction fee)?
Had a look at paypal, but will it look too 'unprofessional'?
Please help, in desperate need
