Where's The Best Place To Book A Holiday To Florida ?
#1
I want to book a holiday in Florida for later on this year (probably April) and was wondering who the best/cheapest travel agents were.
I'd like to be near the theme parks - any recomendations ?
Many Thanks
Matt

We booked our honeymoon in 2002 to Orlando through a travel agent and did all the parks, stayed in a hotel on I-drive, etc....
We're also planning on going back around March/April, but this time we are booking it all direct as it's working out to be cheaper. There are lots of hotels on I-drive, so that's not an issue, and with American Airlines (for example if you look in the Observer/Guardian) offering deals on flights to either Miami or Orlando you can book the flights yourself. For two of us to go to Orlando at the moment with the flights, hotel (14 nights), car hire, etc.... it's looking a fair bit cheaper (circa £400 - and this with normal flights, not the deal for American Airlines, so it could be even cheaper once we know their costs).
Definitely have a look yourself though, as you can get all the tickets for the parks out there for pretty much the same money as you would here, if not cheaper with the current exchange rates.

My folks own a 5 bed lakeside villa in Florida, 7 minutes from Disney, that they rent out all year round.
Look at www.florida-sunset-villa.com if you're interested. You'd have to book flights yourself but it usually works out cheaper this way.

I went last year and booked mine separatley through differnet companys and seemed to save a lot of money.....
I found cheapest for flights was www.dailaflight.com
Park tickets - www.ticketmania.com
Accomadation - www.mousesavers.com
I must say that mousesavers were superb and got me into the disney on site hotels for a fraction of the price we could get anywhere else.....
Hope this helps and enjoy....
