Scary!
mcdonalds calorie counter
1613 calories and 71g of fat for Big Tasty, Supersize Coke, Supersize Fries!!
Never eat that fast food stuff, but plenty do!
71g of fat is nearly 100% of adult man's daily recommended intake of fat.

You have to be desperate to eat that crap, just about as desperate as actually working for McD's.
They say mainly students work there, students of what I ask, stupidity?

It's not even that cheap, either.
There's a BK right next to the tube station I often use, and the greeting I get of burning animal fat every time I walk up the stairs is fukcing horrible.

Even better :
1 x Big Tasty
1 x Supersize fries
1 x large choc milkshake
Over 1800 calories and 85g of fat!!!
Yet I can imagine many eat this as a "snack" inbetween meals and think of it as nothing....prob think it is 500cals or something....
I mean, this is probably an average meal at McD's? A burger, a drink, and some fries? Add in apple pies etc and you're well over 2000 calories for a snack!!!!
Eeek!
Fair ply to McD's though for not hiding the figures!!

It is quick easy food that we think tastes great.
The reality is like smoking, mcdonalds is always in our minds, if we want a quick something to eat, a snack etc it is an easy option.
It is sh1te in a bun.

Looked up other stuff out of interest...
Eating 10 apples & 10 bananas = 1800 calories and about 1g of fat.
I'd be rather stuffed after that...
Or 10 bowls of fruit & fibre, or about 10 servings of pasta....
Hmm......

Or half a kebab at your local turkish murder-the-heart place.
All take-away food is sh1te.
If it's cheap it's generally full of fat. I like a nice chinese take-away once in a while, though.

6 Chicken Nuggets, large fries and diet coke aint too bad 667 calories and 32.8g fat.
But that double sausage and egg mcmuffin weighs in at a hefty 573 calories. Ouch!
Simon.

It's cr@p junkfood. We should all be intelligent enough to realise it's packed full of calories (and the worst types) but ..... I must admit a large Big Mac does hit the right spot every now and again.
Just to put the calories into perspective (for me anyway), a 2hr 16-mile run burns around 1,800 calories and a good 6hr hike in the Scottish Hills burns around 3,600 calories.
Hope those who like the odd Maca D's every now and again ain't slackers
Happy eating,
Stefan
