HELP with PHLIPS CDR765 CD recorder

Can anyone please help me find a new CD deck for my Philips CD-r 775 recorder, it has bit the dust.
The left hand drive(recorder) works fine but the cd playback deck is dead. Anyone got a complete new assembly laying around the place that will do the job or direct me to a spares shop that sells them. Had a nose around inside the unit, theres no loose or disconnected cables so must be the drive.The deck is a VAM1250 type.
Any help greatly welcomed.
