I'm probably going to be in this evening now, apart from a possible trip to get a take away.

I'll probably be in - 12hr shift today and another tomorrow together with the reasons above will see to that.

Happy New Year to all also, as net access will no doubt be banned once I'm home

Evening mate
The girlie and I am in tonight as well. Both being 1. Lazy 2. Cheap and 3. sensible

There is no way I could brave any clubs or pubs on new years eve. Its just plain dangeous.

We have loads of DVD's from xmas to watch and there is beer in the fridge

Staying in because of the kids

Got a few DVDs to watch as well, plus hte fact that I hate NewYear's Eve I've never liked it

Roll on January 2nd - get this nonsense out of the way.

Yep. Steering clear of all public places. Too many ******** about. Could drive down to some friends' do in Cheltenham, but can't be arsed.

Probs look in on the old Jools's Annual Hootenanny thing around 'the' time.

Nice and stress free... Happy New Year.

Have to be at work @7am so staying in, all alone (unless you count the cat).

Going out on NYE is bollox anyway. Overpriced, packed and there's always some ******* who wants to start carrying on.

I'm out tomorrow night to the local that's open til 0130

Me. I'm too tight and hence object to paying to get into my local that's free the rest of the year

I am on stand-by this evening, but not that upset, IMHO NYE is highly overrated and overpriced. On a far less miserable note though

Happy New Year to you and yours, may your 2004 'knock the nuts' off your 2003

Staying in tonite, have a few jack daniels and a pizza cos i am not paying for the privalige (sp) to stand in a pub being overcharged.

Most haunted is on so i will watch that.

Spening £30 on drinks is a no no for me, rather put £30 of petrol in the scoob and go out for a blast.

Happy new years all, where ever u r

Talking

I'll be in tonight, thanks to a combination of lethargy and the fact that most of my friends live miles away. Fortunately I live near a brewery that does take-outs

Mmmm.... 'Santa's Wobble', 7.5%, fresh from the barrel... night all!

me!

as I have done NYE for the last 5 years or so...

10 deep at the bar is not my idea of enjoyment, sending the misus to the fridge is far more relaxing

Happy new year peeps

Staying in.

I used to go to Edinburgh in my wild early twenties and get lashed on the street and kiss random women. Don't miss it a bit

Cool

We're sad old gits so staying in tonight too. Well, not exactly, we're going round to the neighbours for a little get together and the whole neighbourhood (12 houses) has a private fireworks display. It's quite brilliant actually .

HNY to fellow sad gits everywhere.

Unhappy

I'm going night shift. It's just started snowing so more than likely I get snowed in just to top it off.
