explain this... KIDS WITH GOLF GLOVES ON?!!?

Ok.. not sure if there in your area... but
In Nottm you see kids/teenagers.. mainly Black males but some white kids too. not sure if colour is the thing or
it may be a tribal gang land thing.
but they are
wearing a golf glove
on one hand.. or sometimes on both!
Now.. these don't look like kids who are members of a Colf Club!
My sister has just told me the the 'cluture' is depending on what hand they wear the glove depends on what 'tool' they are carrying.
And i'm not on about spanners!
on one hand it means they have a gun on them.. and the other a Knife!
is it me.. or I just thought they looked tw@s.
anyone else have an idea on it?

Maybe a good enough reason for the plod to shoot the *******...

I was at alton towers earlier this year and saw a large group of youths wearing them! 
Sort of being a lady golfer, I found this fooking hilarious. I wouldn't have laughed so loud if i had known what it really meant

If your wearing one on your right hand, 'apparently' your packin a strap.(originated by rapper gangs in America app)
When a hand gun is fired fragments of powder impregnates the skin on your hand, which could be used as forensic evidence against you.
So they wear these gloves, chuck the glove away after the event job done. This is the idea anyway, but its now become a trend, wheather your packin or not.
If your wearing two maybe you have a double holster......
Best bet, if you see a yoof approaching with a bandanner, baggey pants, puffa jacket and a golf glove on. Punch his lights out ask questions later, or better still dont ask any questions and resort to the acient art of defence.......TiaQuanrunlikeflucfoo.
