Does anyone know if there's an equivalent of Companies House for the USA? I'm looking for a resource (website, ideally) for doing basic searches on USA-registered companies, in the same way that we're able to do with Companies House in the UK. Any suggestions?

Fatman - you need to do it on a state-by-state basis, i.e. go to the Delaware companies registry for Delaware-registered companies, New York for NY-registered etc.

Thanks Father Jack. Just knowing the phrase Division of Corporations (as per the HY site) will probably help. I know which state 'my' company is registered - so it should be pretty trivial now. Cheers
