Sony P900 Question
#1
Superb piece of kit this. However one thing is foxing me; anyone know how to import an existing address book from a Palm Pilot (has no infrared, just cradle) to the P900?
I don't fancy having to key in 500 contacts!

How do you keep your Palm contacts at present on your PC? If you use the client Palm ship with the device, you'll need to copy then to Outlook or something similar that the P900 sync software can talk to.

Mark,
Yes you are right; I use the synchro client that came with the palm to save backups to the PC. Not sure if any other application can read the format though, looks proprietry.
Have tried to use Outlook to import what appears to be a palm backup text file; however no joy. Where do I go from here?

It's been a couple of years since I ran a Palm but you need to set up the conduits. From memory, the sync software is something like Chapura Mirror. Have you looked at the Palm support pages? They are A1. There's info by the spadeload here
