Last one ever, last night on BBC2. (Yes I know it was over ages ago on Sky, but I can't be bothered wasting money on that).
I'll miss the silliness, the girls, the stories, the girls and sometimes rather disturbing horror aired at 6:45pm...
Suppose I'll have to invest in the DVDs now, to relive the good ole days...
Apparently the uncut versions are to be shown on BBC2 late at night in January. There did seem to be a distinct lack of gore in this series...

Not enough folk died last night... Joss Whedon's not normally scared of getting the balance right, considering the odds they were up against.
Notice how non-slayers were also suddenly able to whip uber-vamps when Buffy originally got her **** kicked big-time?!!!!? (Xander, Giles, Robin, Dawn, etc.)
And "The First" wasn't even defeated, per se.
Spike was far to smiley when going up in smoke.
Good twist with the multi-slayer activation, though.
BTW - Spike is in Angel again, as a ghost haunting Angel for some reason.

I thought it was good of Whedon not to fall into the obvious trap of "Let's kill most of the cast off, and make it as dramatic as possible."
Was good to see the ending being somewhat upbeat - same as the end of the X-files series.
The Ubervamps did seem to lose their strength though, compared to the first one that came out.
Still, it's only light entertainment, and it's not going to win any Oscars.
How come there aren't any Faith pics posted yet? Come on TelBoy!
