Just got my days off...
Tuesday (23th) 1/2 day
Wednesday (24th) OFF
Thursday (25th) OFF - XMAS DAY
Friday (26th) OFF
Saturday (27th) WORKING
Sunday (28th) OFF
Monday (29th BACK AS NORMAL
Thursday (1st) OFF
Am i being shat on from a great height? Or is this about right?

Depends -- our office closes from midday on Dec 24th and reopens Jan 2nd (PR company).
My sister works for a big leasing company, and has the same deal as you. Brother in law is the same (Xerox).

All depends on your job, but I'm betting its shop work of some kind, in which case that's about right. When I worked in a retail job, I even worked New Years Day.....
Myself I always book my Christmas break early, and use lots of my holiday to get a nice break. This year my last day is this Friday 19th Dec and I'm back at work on Monday 5th Jan.

Place i work at has christmas day, boxing day and new years day only 
Doesn't bother me though cos i've handed my notice in to get some time off, so i finish on 19th and start my new job on 2nd of Jan

We are working the 22nd, Xmas do on Tuesday 23rd so no work! Then the office is shut until 5th January, all paid! Mind you only get 20 days annual leave for rest of year.

been off since last week and i dont go back until the 6th jan
and ive still got 7 working days (ie mon-fri) to take before april

as i am a student, soon as i get off im in everday day for 2 weeks bar x-mas day boxing day and new years. also a good few of my dayas are 9 to 9 shifts i never get holidays either education (which is pointless and am gonna look for a proper job after x-mas) or work

I have the pleasure of working this year.....I have christmas day and boxing day off..oh and then the weekend but that's because I don't work weekends usually.. but thats it..oh and I still have horses to look after on my days off from work!

Off Dec 23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,Jan 1,2,3,4 and back on the 5th.
Oh, and a possibility of finishing half day on the Dec 22nd.
I hate the place so much Im already thinking how depressed Ill be going back on Mon 5th Jan, how sad is that.

been off since Aug 15th........
going back atm on Jan 13th, after the panto !
so guess that means all days off over xmas
