Scientific approach for me. When your brain dies, i.e. absolute and irreversible loss of brain function, your neurons stop firing and thats it. No afterlife, no reincarnation, brown bread!

Death is what it's all about as surely as life. You are born, you live, you die. No metaphysical significance, no afterlife, nothing but an eternity of entropy.
Live every minute like it's going to be your last...........that being the case I'm off to the bar.

Death is the only one sure thing in life...
It's going to happen to us all.
I couldn't give a **** about it, life's pretty boring if you ask me, the gene pool is overcrowded...

dunno enjoying the time I have now thats for sure althoughI'll probably be worried and think about death more when closer to the time presuming I live to be a ripe old age
Id like to think I could carry on my useless knowledge and experience in life onto something else but I actually believe that once were dead were dead. guess we'll all just have to wait and see

There's no point worrying about death, it's inevitable....
Worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum... ie. there's no point in worrying...
I can't beleive all these people who find out they're dying and suddenly try to turn to religon to help them cope with the fact they're gonna die and to make them feel less scared. It's tough ****, it's coming to us all....
Hell it could be 10 minutes time, it could be an hour, next week or next year...
I've faced death when my car fell on me, I excepted it and was lucky enough to be saved by my neighbours - next time death comes I'll grab him by the *****!...

if its a load of nothingness..........then youll be dead anyway so you wont know!
the bit that interests me is what happens at that point just as your heart stops beating ie the very moment of death............thing is I wont be around to figure it out, because I ll be busy being dead.

Oh no, not Toys R Us car park in Woking again. Used to be a favourite when I was up there a fair bit last year. Saw one bloke do it, when I was in a meeting on a floor about the same height as the top floor of the car park. Not nice at all

I have always thought of death a lot in my life.
It sometimes makes me really depressed, probably because I enjoy life so much and don't want it to end.
At times I have even thought "what's the point living?" but not in a suicidal way, just an observation, which again depresses me.
I'm 35 now, so hopefully I have at least the same amount of time left on this earth as I've already spent, and I find myself trying to work out if 35 years passed quickly or slowly.
I can understand folk with religious beliefs. It must be nice to have plans for your afterlife, but I am a non believer and always will be, so I don't have that "get out of jail free" card
I have two young children now, and I'm kind of re-living my youth through them. Perhaps when I'm a ripe old age I will think "ok, bored, time to go" and be quite happy to kick off this mortal coil (sp).
At the moment I just try to make sure I always have something to look forward to. This month it's a set of Cobra seats and a boost upgrade for my MX5.
lol, works for me
Happy Christmas.
