I tried to tax a car that only had a week left on the insurance policy.
The old crone at the post-office wouldnt do it, saying the insurance had to have a reasonable amouunt of time left on it.
I went to another post-office and they did it no problem.

DD - that's shocking - should have told her where to stick it . where does it say that the insurance cert. "must have a reasonable amount of time on it?". I taxed my lovely mondeo on the fourth day of a one week cover note that the dealer gave me.
