Why is it whenever i go for a maccy d the muppets get the order wrong?
up until a year ago i had 1 every day for lunch and 95% of the time they got it wrong, i'd ask for plain quarter pounder and they'd ask if i wanted cheese - (er i thought that was a cheesburger), i'd say no cheese and no salad - 10-15 mins later (special order) i'd get burger and the pillocks would have put cheese and salad on it, i'd take it back and have to wait yet again, this was annoying when i only had half hour for lunch.

I decide"d to stop going as i got so peed off with them until today - plain meal no cheese or salad please" - got home to find cheese on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and they wonder why people say only thick morons work in these places

Don't go to McDonalds - it's crap

If in the UK go to Burger King

If in the USA and in a relevant location go to In-n-Out Burger - probably the best burgers in the world!

In-n-Out Burger
Is that so named for speed of service or speed of digestion

Today Claire and I went for a drive-through and ordered 1/4lb meals but being a fat-git in all I went supersize. So we get to the 3 window and the muppette asks 'is that two large 1/4er meals with coke.'

I clearly said no its one large and one supersize. She fuffles around for a bit and then asks, 'So is that two large 1/4er meals' I smiled politely and said yes.....didn't want the silly cow to blow a gasket that early on a saturday

If then had half a brain between them......

Hhmm i agree, they can be very dippy with orders, quite a fair few times when i ask for a PLAIN burger with fries, i take it away, open it up to find it had all that gunk all over it! errr no, this doesn't look plain! lol Takes it back, they do it again.... EVENTUALLY they get it right and i can then go home and eat something.

Go again another time, same thing happens, they don't learn...
Luckily they have managed to sort themselves out and when i ask for plain it usually always is now. At least they are training them better

My biggest beef about MC'd is they introduce a comparativly really nice burger(e.g Mc Rib with BBQ sauce, or Double qtr pounder with cheese) and then 2 weeks later remove it from the menu.

What makes a double quarter pounder with cheese comparitvely better than a single quarter pounder with cheese?

Anything bought in McD's is utterly offal. How people can eat that muck once, let alone day after day, I will never know. All that fat and grease on the stuff. I'd much rather have a tasty sandwich or wholesome soup......

Dunno. Maybe it's because I feel full 2 hours later, rather than 10 minutes.

My personal fave burgers are Wimpy ones, but alas there are fewer around now.

So why not just buy 2 x single quarter pounders with cheese when the offer is not on?

Hmm....don't see the problem?

Cus I'm a tight so and so. 2X1qtr bndr is over 3 quid. I average a MCD about once a month. It;s usually when i've had time for nothing else. There are better ways of spending 5 quid on a lunch..

The local American diner does a superb texmex buffet for £5.50, but that's not much use if I only have 30 mins.

My work canteen does a pizza for 70p or pasta for 90p if you're on the lookout for lunch

Daz,

Now now, actually I'm not sure why they're called In-n-Out - presumably for the speed of service, but who knows eh?

What I can tell you is that they are leagues ahead of the crap we get here, being in the US the bugers are made out of meat and are flame grilled and all the fries are cut and cooked freshly in front of you. Doesn't sound like Maccy D's does it?

tiggers.

Anyone eating at McDonalds is setting themselves up for the worst that a culinary experience has to offer

- moral of the story-
Eat in a **** place and you get **** service and **** food.
