who gets red mist ie floor it every time some gimp sticks to your back bumper or wants to race i know ill probly get flamed but i cant help it evan had a new m3 cab flashing at me last night id have gone for it but had just pulled of the drive [only when safe ]

used to do always but now I tend to brake harshly and if they dont get the message I'll slow down to about 20mph (I presume were on about 30mph roads etc) and pull out so Im more towards the middle of the rd rather than towards the kerb making it tough if they wanted to overtake. then if they back off I'll cruise up to 30 again. usually it'll pi55 themoff but it'll make them aware they are driving up ya backside as alot of them do it without realising and will probably do it to the next car they come across

If I am being 'gated and there is traffic ahead of me I slowly reduce speed until the speed fits the gap they have left! Then, when the traffic clears I will accelerate as quickly as possible up to a safe speed leaving them miles behind.
If they catch up again and start 'gating again repeat as neccessary until they get the message!

i ahve never had this in my life.
i have driven TVR's, BMW's, Scoob, etc, etc yet have NEVER had anyone pull at lights at look across and never had anyone sit on my bumper to egg me on.
you must all draw it on yourselves!

You probably have, but not been observant enough to notice... either that or there is something "repellent" about you?
I never have anyone lining up at the lights, but get tailgated on the motorway all the time.

I get tailgated quite a bit, just slow down til they either pass or back off.
Always get lined up at the lights, think its the shock of seeing a girl in a STi8, I rise to the bait sometimes depending on what sort of day I have had but most of the time let them think they have beaten me off the lights.

where there are two lanes ppl are allowed to do this. if i come up against a two lane traffic light and a car is on the inside i will ALLWAYS use the other lane....this is no different to picking a smaller cue at the supermarket.
some of you lot may read to much into other drivers actions!

I love getting lined up at the lights, Engage handbreak, rev engine, lights go to Green, Saxo,Corsa etc go screaming off leaving me waving out of the window as they snap their heads round wondering what happened to me. Did this the other week on the ring road in Leeds and the tosser in the Saxo VTR!!! got pulled by plod coming out of a side road, que slow drive by with beeming grin
