I`ve had enough, I`ve got to get out of the`rat race`. So, I`m starting up on my own & I`m opening a shop, everything`s sorted out, premisies etc. apart from a name. I`m struggling with this, had plenty ideas but nothing seems appropriate. It`s a Antique/Period/20th century furniture type place, I`d be gratefull for any suggestions, any at all...

If you have a nice sounding real name.??use that. I find anyone trading using their own name tend to be better.

cant think of a suitbable name off top of my head but what is proven is if yoiu have a 'dynamic' sounding name rather than 'jims antiques' or something the shop will have a better reputation straight off

try putting the word 'international' or somthing to that effect and people subcosciously think of it as a more professional outfit. also if your name is john smith try putting js instead of the full name. again, makes it sound professioanl. coudnt tell you why but apparently it is proven.

so maybe something like 'js anitques international' maybe??

sorry if that confusing but it is an idea

Good name above but shorten it to something like:

c.19

OR

c.1900

Trendy name and the signwriting wont cost too much as its short!
