July 2nd 2003 for me.
Because I got told that I had passed my interview to join the Police.
After several years in IT I had had enough, so was going to follow my dream.
Edited as I got my years messed up

Well I feel normal today after a week of cold/flu, I have never had anything so bad, couldnt be arsed doing anything and made me feel depressed, really really grim, I am back to my usual status as office pest, hope your situation improves !

16th May 2001 being in Dortmund to see Liverpool win the UEFA Cup. Was the culmination of seeing them win the FA Cup at Cardiff the previous Saturday and The Worthington Cup in Feb 2001.

what is wrong with remembering when
your kids were born
when you were born
when you passed your driving test
when you had you first **** , yes it was the day after my 15th birthday, but so what.
I take it some people dont remember their first ****, is that because you paid for it or it was so crap you have chosen to forget it, christ I still remember her name, where it happened everything about it.

Hope things improve for you - we all have ****ty days and they can seem interminable.
I've had lots of both good and bad days, but one of the very best was skiing the World Cup course at Lake Louise on a perfect sunny day. It was -15 C, there were ice crystals relecting and refracting the light, and I skied like a god. Just thinking back to that one five-minute section of piste is enough to lift me no matter how black my mood.
Or there was the near-fatal car crash which I walked away from. If bad luck seems to strike, a swift reminder that I've also had good luck seems to help.

Trying to think of the best day to cheer myself up....
Think it was passing my A-levels 'cos i was so relieved to have passed.
Unfortunately thinking about my a levels isn't cheering me up right now.
Sooz (working on a cheery thought for today)

I don't want to say what has happened. I just started this thread to try and not feel so sorry for myself and try and focus on good things and not all bad.

Maybe someone on here has had a similar experience and can offer more specific assistance, or share how they dealt with it? Just a thought. We all have crap times; talking about them is often beneficial.
