Try the Pacific from Asda. Plays everything and can be converted to all regions (simply type in a code on remote control). I think they are about £50 now. They also come with 3 year warranty.

The whsmiths cyberhomes one is less than £50 and is excellent 2 year warranty and region free

My family and friends have 4 between then

Yamada 5520 is a carcker for £39.99 delivered to your door....(from amazon)

Plays everything you chuck at it.... and quality is pretty damn good....

bought a few as pressies.....

....looks pretty sweet aswell...

and you don't even have to leave your pc!!!!
