I am looking at replacing the three remotes(TV, Video & Sky) with one handset. I don't want to spend a fortune, but want one that works.

Cheers

Check out Richer sounds....they often have great deals on remotes.
I bought a Marantz on offer for around £30 a while ago, loads better than the crap from Argos.

and if you have Sky+ you dont need to record programmes on a VCR (which is all mine got used for) 'cos Sky+ does it so much better... so thats only 1 handset needed - the Sky+ one!

If you have a PDA (Palm OS, not sure about Win CE) already, you can purchase a software that turns it into a universal programmable IR learning touch screen remote. The trial version is free (limited functions).

Cheers All. Went to good old currys in the end and got a 4 into 1 for less than £20 and it works!

Mr. Gee, go to the Palm website and search for remote control under software. The one I used is called OmniRemote. Otherwise, go direct to: http://www.pacificneotek.com/
