Okay folks, anyone clear this one up for me ?? drove past a camera van today, he was deffinately operational !! usual spot - 30 mph limit, camera looking thru a small hatch upon rear off upper door.

had the snooper s5-r radar/ laser detector on, but youv`e guessed it ??!! nothing !! totally silent !! first time that this detector has been tested by myself thru an actual laser trap, so although I was aware that I would be upon spitting distance ( well choosen words )!! off the van before the laser alert sounded, why nothing heard from this machine ?? as I say, he was deffinately monotoring speed levels, so is it because I was sitting at 30mph/33mph !! , I was not targeted, hence this non warning alert ?? thought that I would have at least heard something from it ?? dissapointed now !!!

he was probably checking number plates and tax discs rather than speed.
