4 in 10 directory enquiries numbers wrong!

Survey today revealed this.
Not suprised, i have used it a few times and usually got the wrong number, the worse thing is you need to call the 118 number to complain thus costing you more money - this is a licence to print money for these people, it seems very wrong and we are the ones paying for it!
This is dispicable!

one of the national papers had a big story on this a couple of weeks ago and I'm surprsed it has all gone quiet. The enquiry companies get paid per call, so the quicker the operator gets off the line, the more money the company makes, and the more money the operator gets as they are on commission.
One of the operators had a trick of giving everyone who rang the number of the local pizza restaurant

It is not my spelling it is my typing usually but to be honest i do not ever remember writing down the word despicable before. Ho hum!
