Question

Got to be at Braham Street for 1pm next Monday. I'm going to drive down the M1 and Autoroute has given me a route of A5 > A501 to Shoreditch, then A5201 (Old Street) > A10 > A1202.

Is this the best route for the middle of the day? Am I going to be wandering into the CC zone? How long should this take?

Cheers

Should be fine that time of day. Braham Street is outside the CC zone.

Estimated time is about 40 minutes.

Do you have to use the car ?

Braham street is round the corner from aldgate - metropolitan line from N London , or Thameslink & change at Farringdon.

It is outside of the congestion charge zone but only just - don't take too many wrong turns ....

Parking might be fun though - NCP in Middlesex Street but that might be CC.

Thanks guys. I was concidering going by train, but to be honest it's going to take longer (if it arrives on time at all). It's for a meeting so the less stressed I am the better! 40 mins does not sound too bad. I'll give myself some leeway on top of that.

If I enter the CC zone will I get an invoice or something in the post?

only a penalty notice. You have to pay the CC *before* midnight on the day you use it.
