It has come to my attention that it will cost slightly more than I expected, to provide security for my good friend George when he comes to visit.

Therefore, in order to pay for this, I wondered if you common people who drive Subaru's wouldn't mind receiving an extra speeding ticket this week?

To encourage participation in this scheme, I have instructed the 27 police officers not in London this week, to hide with their speed cameras in obscure locations, and prosecute anyone travelling at more than 0.01mph over the speed limit. I have also reduced all speed limits by 10mph, although road signs will not reflect this.

There will be no right of appeal against any convictions.

I trust that you will understand the reasons for this action, as I do not want us to run out of money and have to send George home early (he has little control over his trigger finger, you see).
