Guy's,
I should know the answer to this question, I am self employed, and do allsort from very specialist re-upholstery, to sitting on roofs putting slates on, basically whatever people will pay me to do, provided that I can do it.
So, I'm guessing I should have some sort of Insurance cover, but what sort of thing would be appropriate? And roughly what's it gonna cost me.
I only work 1-2 days a week, so therefore ain't earnin a fortune, so maybe what I pay could be earnings related??
Cheers in advance.
Ron.

You will need Public/Products Liability Insurance for sure, this will cover your legal liability for payment to persons following injury or damage. This policy is normally rated on your annual turnover however, you could be into minimum premiums levels.
Insurers do not like work at height, so your tiling will increase premium levels.
Hope this helps.
