Carol Smilie's Mensa swindle.
Carol Smilie could be kicked out of brainbox club Mensa after admitting to cheating on the test.
Smilie took the test while she was on the Wheel of Fortune in a bid to prove gameshow hostesses aren't dumb.
To join Mensa, members have to prove their intelligence by scoring and IQ of 130-150 in the specially designed test.
The average IQ is 100. Only 2 per cent of people have the relevant IQ. Over 150 qualifies you as a genius.
The Sun reports that Smilie's name has now been removed from the official Mensa website after she confessed to asking a friend who was in Mensa to help her with the test.
The star of BBC's Changing Rooms confessed that she phoned a friend saying, 'I thought that was intelligent.'
'I wasn't going to be made to look thick. I felt quite guilty,' she added.
