personally id go for the compaq ipaq, get tomtom and a gps reciever and your away, voice prompts, takes ya to the number of the house not just the street!!!

i got mine from ebay paid £360 for a ipaq 3760, 128 mb flash card with jacket, tomotm software and a haicom gps, all car mounts etc and im totally impressed with it, top bit of kit mate
