Does anyone on here either work for SCC (Specialist Computer Centre) or know of them (good / bad)
We are going to be outsourced to this company by February so any info would be useful

Back in the dark days of doing IT consultancy I worked with them for a brief period at their head office in the Midlands.
What an outfit, complete clowns and that guy Rigby who owned the company seemed to have delusions of godhood. He entered the room and his chorus of sycophants sat there and said "yes sir, no sir, 3 bags full sir".
Some other clients I worked with developed a similar but worse opinion to mine.
I still have a few contacts there and I'm pleased to say that if you get in the right position there it is possible to work the companies faults round to your advantage (read between the lines)

We currently use them for hardware and that is the general opinion we have of them!!
Only recently we've been informed they've won the contract to provide all desktop / server support and so we'll have the great pleasure of a TUPE across to them
