So, this couple by a chappel for conversion in an ideal spot in the beautiful Tamar Valley. Nice sustantial building with a huge basement for 83K at auction. How do they do it, I was thinking?
Then it transpires that the programme was filmed in l998. No wonder it was such a bargin, it was five years ago.
Can't really see the point of dredging out these old shows. They might show how viable conversions and self builds were back then, but they are just pointlessly misleading when broadcast in 2003.

Same with all these building/development programs. Totally unrepresentative of the current market.
Going a bit off topic I thought it a bit odd that the stairways had no rails etc. Especially as they were expecting.
