let's see now:
Specialist Cars (BMW)
Atlantic Power (meter reader read my meter wrong so they assumed the thing had gone right round the clock and sent me a bill for £2,600. wtf?)

ANY company that uses aggressive telesales
strangely, NTL and BT have never given me much trouble. had some scaffolding put up on the front of my house, and when they took it down they dropped all the tubes into a patch of earth in the front garden, shattering the NTL cable - NTL replaced it within a week for free.

Pc World are crap because
a) There's never enough staff on duty
b) The staff that are there just ignore you
c) If you do manage to speak to someone 9 times out of 10 they have no idea what you're after
d) They are rude
e) There's never enough people on the tills so if you manage to find what your after you can't leave for 1 hour because there's a 6 mile queue for the till
f) If there's a problem with the item you've bought they try to fob you off with the "You'll have to contact the manufacturer" line even though you bought it from them.
g) The suck

I did a lot of advertising photography for them (back in 1993). They took ages to pay, and about a year later, asked me to do more. Without going into too many details, I didn't work for them again, but they used previous images they had no rights to. Breach of Copyright and enough said.

I think we should name and shame all companies with awful service or who we just hate for some other reason.
