Seeing as so there are a few home cinema bods about
How easy is this to do and does it cost much?
Seen a pioneer dvd player I like for £90 but the multi region version is £120. Does it cost more than £30 to chip a region 2 to a MR?

Depends where you get it modchipped.
Personally I'd just pay 120 quid for it to start off with, rather than having to get it, send it off to be modded, just more of a pain.

My machine is a Pioneer DV717 - its getting on for 6 years old now but still gives a cracking picture.
Modchip was £50 and was done by Practical Hi-Fi - a bit of a snip when the player itself was £500.
No messing about with handsets for mw...

I'm gonna go home via Tottenham Court Road tonight to see how much I can get it for. I think I saw it in multi region for £110 somewhere there the other day.
