Is it possible to get the info on an item you purchased if the transaction is older than 90 days? I have emailed eBay direct but am hoping one of you lot might have tried it before and will therefore know if its possible.
Basically a guy sold me concert tickets in advance. He then sent tickets which I believe are different (because the ones he sent he only bought himself on ebay last week) from those he advertised (diff seats) but I cant prove it as I have lost the original email and the transaction was months ago.

AFAIK ebay wipe all transactions from their database after 90 days.
Can you imagine how much storage they'd need if they kept every transaction

I would have thought they would move them offline after 90 days so you cant search for them but they can search internally if the need arises.

It's a legal requirement to keep accounting transactions for 6 years I think.
Considering every auction that is posted makes them money, they will have to keep this info.
Worth trying to contact someone at ebay, explain your problem they may be able to help.
