No, not in my experience. Following Saxo Boy's thread some months ago where this *did* apparently happen to him, i thought i'd try it.
No dice.
Although i did get the five star Relay service thrown in for the cost of the "normal" Relay option. So that was something i suppose.

Is it true that if you don't contact them, they will contact you(on day of renewal) and offer you your renewal at half the price?
Spa,depends if you have automatic renewal by direct debit.
I dont,so this year i left it right till the last minute.Got a few reminder letters,did nothing,then two days before renewal was due, got a phone call from AA salesguy.Basically i said i was not renewing cos i had a better offer from someone else(not true btw).He said instead of £110 i could have it for £65 if i signed up there and then, which i did.
That was in August.
