does anyone know much about the phones that a 3 simcard will fit into, got a sony p800 unlocked and was expecting my 3 simcard to go in and work but it doesnt recognise the sim. has anyone had any similar probs or can you recomend a telephone that will work with this simcard

apparently very old nokias, eg the 2146 and 5146 which was also known as the orange 5.1.

This is a great site.

I know that an unlocked XDA will work, no problem. All other phones seem to be hit and miss.

A definitive list can be found here, but here are the contents in a nutshell.

The numbers in brackets show the number of people who had success or failure with their handsets.
We assume that all people have tried their 3 sim cards on unlocked phones.
You might see some models listed in both columns. The reason is that someone was successful while the other was not so lucky. Possibly different software / firmware versions?
