Mr Burrell said Princes William and Harry should "grow up", after they accused him of betrayal over the book.
He also said he wanted to give the princes a piece of his mind for not supporting him when he had been at his lowest ebb.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3216709.stm
So, he's beating up on teenagers now then. Who does this sad loser think he is? He just seems to be some deluded psycopathic nutcase who doesn't know when to shut up. He claims that he has been on a 'rollercoaster of madness'. If you ask me he is still firmly on it, in the drivers seat, and blowing the whistle all the way. Toot toot.....

The guy is a loser. I really hope his book doesn't sell. I'm surprised he hasn't played his trump card of revealing Hewitt as Harry's father. Perhaps that's what the princes are so concerned about...

who gives a f*ck anyway?
if the royal family weren't in cloud cuckoo land themsleves, none of this would have happened. ok, it's a bit rough on the kids, but that's unfortunately what can happen if you are born into hundreds of years of unjustifiable privelidge.

I reckon they are more worried he might come out with stories about the royals homosexual proclivities. Everyone already know about Harry the b*stard (in the sense of his parentage).

maybe its a bit of PR ..but this book could see him become one of the biggest selling authors of all time.
I say good luck to him. I would do the same. The Royals are well Fukked up and up to their own tricks. If harry dont like it... welll he can get confort from his father...james will listen to him!!!
Its great.. better than eastenders

Tell you what though, it all proves that Diana was as thick as **** - there she is, all worried that she'll die in a car crash, so she gets into a poorly maintained Merc with a pissed driver, lets herself get driven around Paris at 120+mph and doesn't even put a seatbelt on. At night!
Smaaart move.

No matter who you are, if you lose your mum and then some f*cked up royal-wannabe starts releasing stories about her and your loved ones, you're going to be pretty pissed off!
I'm not a fan of the royals, but I do feel for William and Harry given that they lost their mum at such an early age and had to put up with royal protocol when they should have been allowed to grieve.
It's not nice to say about another human being, but if I were William or Harry, I'd make sure that Burrell's time was up - and soon!
You can see it in Burrell's eyes - he's not right, he's a nutcase IMO.
He gets all that he deserves as far as I'm concerned...

what's a D Notice, Luke?
i reckon they should put the royal family into concorde and get shot of 2 albatrosses in one go. if there happened to be a peice of metal lying on the runway before take-off, that would be a great, err..., shame.

he may be a bit of a fruit loop but who in his position would not write a book? His max earnings are probably 100k per annum going and giving talks etc.. with this book he's a multi-millionaire and he's looked after his family for life, and he can still do the talks AND promote his book further.. He'd be crazy not too...
As for the princes, no one deserves to lose their mother at that point in life, but the book is hardly going to hurt them is it?

'D' notice, or 'DA' notice is a notice issued to newspapers from time to time, 'advising' them that publication of certain items or stories may be contrary to the 'national interest'. I suppose it depends on what your 'national interest' is.....
Burrell is no hero, but then neither are the people he's writing about...

Honestly, leave them alone!
Here is everyone bagging Burrell about cashing in on others misfortune, and in the same breath encouraging Luke to start yet more unsubtantiated rumours about our monarchy!

No... the reason he wrote the book is because there is a demand for reading tat about other peoples lives.
We all have secrets, but the sadder amongst us feel the need to fill a gap in their own lives by reading rubbish about other peoples lives

re: being a subject of the monarch
She's my subject, after all I get to study the minutia of her sordid family life- like a fly in a jar.

I'm no fan of the Monarchy, trust me, or that skanking baitch Diana, I just think that Burrell is a treacherous theiving scumbag and that everyone is entitled to a little privacy - especially when they can't fight back ('cos they're dead).

Still, we're all grateful for the enhanced GDP of the UK as a result of the Royal Family, i'm sure.
If they were a drain on the economy, i'm sure a lot more people would be asking searching questions about their justification, but since many people's jobs rely on their existence, there isn't much to lose by just letting them be, in my opinion.

A president would bring in the same enhanced GDP, assuming of course that you accept that myth is true.
Personally I'd get rid of them on a matter of principle rather than taking the "kings shilling" like some low life mercenary.
