Im looking for some where to go this weekend with my girlfriend that has a nice water front thats got things to do and a few bars (taking into consideration I dont drink so the entertanment is important)
Iv been to Liverpool, Bristal and Cardiff Bay. I realy enjoyed cardiff Bay it was a realy nice place and will be going back some time. Not looking for a realy realy long drive. Im located in Birmingham.

Agree with Terzo. I think you would enjoy the Lakes by the sound of it

Hi Ray

Does a riverfront count as a waterfront?

Last Saturday evening, I went to Matlock Bath to see the illuminated boats on the river Matlock Illuminations. I think that the illuminated boats are on show each Saturday while the Illuminations are on, but you might want to check this.

Peak District roads, not too far from Brum, good country pubs for food, bars in Matlock Bath; it's an alternative to the seaside. More about the place

Try these. Been there a few times. Apts are superbly equipped with quality furnishings etc and look out over Brixham harbour.

Chip.
