Went to the ol picture house on sat evening ans saw Kill Bill vol 1.
What can I say? WOW! I'm sort of a fan of Quentin's films, but this was fantastic. From the 70's opening "feature presentation" and "Shaw Scope" cards to the end of the film, it was great. OK, so blood everywhere, and the odd tasteless act of violence (but hey, Buck did have it coming, hmm, could be a really bad pun there lol) but I loved it, I was in tears throughout most of the film. O-Ren's meeting with the Yakuza is fantastic, gory, but done in a comedy way. If you like QT films, you have to go see this, I cannot wait to see how it ends.
