Angry

This morning I was in my kitchen, finishing my breakfast and wondering if I had to rush off for work.

The microwave clock read 9.00

The radio clock read 9.01

The rice cooker clock read 9.04

My watch showed 9.07

My mobile phone showed 8.56

[The cooker clock showed 10.35, but it has done since we moved in 3 years ago]

I couldn't see the alarm clock in the bedroom, the clock on the hi-fi in the living room, the clock on the fax machine or the clock in the corner of the computer screen. Doubtless they would have added to the confusion.

I can reset them all, but give it a month and they'll be just as discordant.

Why are we ruled by these things that can't agree? (Clocks - this is not a complaint against my work bosses )

I can't decide which I find more shocking. That you have a rice cooker or that it has a clock on it.....

the rice cooker has a clock so you can set it to have the rice ready by a certain time. Whats strange about that?

Easy, use your slowest clock to time your arrival at work and your fastest to time your departure

Out of that lot I'd go for the mobile. Use it to dial 123
