Ephedrine Hydrochloride
Its a stimulant, similar to amphetamine, if taken in large doses it can make you feel euphoric, and an increase in endurance and stamina will be observed. It also acts as an appetite supressant.
Side effects include raised blood pressure, increased heart rate, nausia, vomiting, bad temper, insomnia, dry mouth, and strange one this, a cold feeling in the tips of your fingers and toes!
This drug is not a steroid, but if you use it with a course of steroids the side effects mentioned above will be accelerated.

Ephedrine: once used as a bronchodilator, now mainly as a decongestant. Not used as much now because of it's effect on the heart, (speeds it up, similar to adrenaline, or epinephrine).
Overdose danger rating: medium.
Dependence rating: low,
Prescription needed: no
Do not use if you have a history of:
long term kidney probs,
heart disease,
high blood pressure,
diabetes,
overactive thyroid,
glaucoma,
urinary difficulties,
or you are taking other medication, in which case consult pharmacist.
Can cause: anxiety, restlessness, confusion, dry mouth, tremor, cold hands, urinary difficulties, palpitations/chest pain.
Avoid driving/hazardous work until you see what effect this drug has on you.
In case of overdose, notify your doctor immediately.

used to use it before a leg workout!
it opens up your airways and makes you feel as if you have more energy.
stopped using it as i couldn't sleep at night after taking it!!!

I have used this stuff loads of times over the years and the only side effect I have ever had is the classic cant sleep.
You can actually go to a health food shop and but psuedo ephadrine, but its crap.

Ultimate Orange now uses a new formula without the Ephedrine in it.
Theres been a few cases of people in the states having heart attacks while on it, also effects the nervous system AFAIK
When i tried it i foud it made me shake alittle, could tell i was burning more energy though.Dont bother with them anymore, can do without the shakes and feeling 'odd' that came with it.
Also makes you dry and can lead to bad breathe, so not so good for chatting up the ladies or your training partner.
Si...keep on Dead Lifting m8 and you'll probably knack your back for ever, stick to squats, thye are *alot* safer!

i mean a mte of mine usesd to squat heavy , on his own , and now he's got big back problems !!
squats, when performed correctly, are not bad for your back.. they strengthen it.
