just goin through loads of junk in my room and it's full of paperwork....
how long should things such as bank / credit card statement's, receipts, bills, etc etc be kept for???
i even found mobile bills from four years ago

i keep bank statements but things like credit card and phone bills - these days i just have a look and then chuck 'em. got far too much junk as it is without archiving 10 years of barclaycard bills.

Change to an online credit card and bank - You can then dump all the paperwork. I don't get bank statements, mobile bills or credit card statements any more. It all get mailed to me and gets quickly dropped in a nice little folder in Outlook, where it can live forever without getting lost
