Hello
I'm still after an MP3 player. E-bay seems to be the place to go, with 128K memory stick USB MP3 players going for around £35.
They all seem to be shipped from China or Hong Kong though. Has anyone bought anything from someone so far away on ebay?
Thanks,
Steve.

I've bought stuff from New Zealand, USA and Canada without problems.
If their feedback is in the high 90%s then there's no reason to be cautious.
The item you're after will have been made in those countries you mentioned (most likely), hence the price.

For cheap items then you should be okay. Just be careful if you go for more expensive items.
I recently enquired about a nokia mobile phone that was going for about £180. Bloke had a high rating and the price was good. He mailed me and said it would be shipped from Spain and he would only take Western Union money transfer - all the signs of a good ebay fraud. I checked his feedback reports - all his previou sales and purchases had been of used Mustang car parts solely in the USA.
His identity had basically been hijacked by this other character.
I've bought loads off ebay from all over the world - it's fine if you go in with your eyes open and remember that if a deal sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
