Oh Diablo NO !
Seriously though, we have been together for three years, and until the 1st September, Chelsie's cars have been some what uninteresting compared to a modded WRX01MY. So rather than go in a Metro or a Corolla, we always took the scooby, and I drove, I wanted to sure, but the main reason was she was only third party. Before anyone says put her on the policy, it's company insurance.
The only difference now is that the car she has is great to drive, so I guess I want to drive. Time to move over to the passengers seat me thinks.

Oh messiah - up your ar$e
Its a Rav4 3dr D4D and I can tell you it's a great car to drive. When it's run in we are going to look into chiping it to stupid amounts of torque.
David
Edited to add the to Spoon as well !

I've got a simple rule: I'm sober; I drive. I'm pissed; you drive. This works very well. It means we don't waste time driving around at 40 mph when I could be getting us to the party quicker, and when I'm pissed I fall asleep and don't really care how long it takes to get home.

I'm with ProperCharlie on this. I hate being a passenger, it's nothing to do with sexism or anything, but MrsREV's driving irritates me. If she's driving I have to criticise her so if I drive it saves an argument.

Hello
It's a strange world, but that's just the way it goes. I can't even imagine going out with my wife with her driving.
She is happy anyway, as she doesn't get "Wrong gear, change now, you really should indicate you know..." .....
Steve.

Rev - I know exactly what you mean. I try to stop myself but i can't. We'll be waiting at a junction and two opportunities to pull out will go passed and eventually I'll have to say "There's a gap! Go! Go! Go!" and she starts giving it "Who's driving, you or me?. I'll go when I want to, now shut up!" As for overtaking on the motorway.... let's not even start that one.[/b]

My Dad always did the driving, thats just the way it was. Mum never questioned it. Perhaps a bit of that had rubbed of on me, I don't know.
A big thing for me is I don't like being driven by anyone, also I love to drive.

I have no problem being ferried around in my lady's Impreza.
In fact I quietly laugh when she often has a blast, just seeing the faces of other drivers who are left in her trail.

This means i don't have to cut your hair any more then if your working in a hair dressers on the side.
People just don't read profiles in here.

Chel (and Shark)
If you haven't had some sort of front bullbar fitted, I suggest you do. I pranged my new RAV after only a month of ownership, by T-boning a Renault 5 at barely 20mph, certainly no airbags deployed. Can mail you a photo. Cost 6500 euros to repair, apparently the accident had damaged the steering.
BTW, do you have reversing sensors on it, if so how many? I do, I'm not so impressed with them.
