Hi Guys,
I am new to these forums. So hopefully I have posted in the right area ?
Currently own a Dark Blue 4 door Classic Turbo 2000.
Any how. I was travelling to work this morning down the A500 Stoke-on-trent by pass. Came round the corner and low and behold there was a dark blue van with cheverons and a Police car parked up in front on the lay-by near the Talke turn off.
Now I know I was doing a little more over the leagal limit and corrected my speed as soon as I saw it (over 80).
The cop car didn't pull me over.
I don't recall seeing any blacked out windows on the back of the van but there were some on the side.
Am I assuming the worse ?
Advice needed.

its a wise move - i got myself a Bel target 550 radar detector and it is very good - few false alarms, except when in town, but then you should be behaving there anyway.
i feel i want extra backup with the increase use of laser and the fact that my eyesight cannot spot a bloke with a laser gun 1 mile away on a bridge

ChrisB. Definately passed a Dark Blue Van with red chevrons and a marked cop car this morning @ around 8:58am this morning. Road was pretty quiet for a change. Thus the temptation to put ones foot down on the accelerator. I was coming up from J16 M6.

Just had a look at the mobile Speed van schedule. It never mentioned the A34 being targeted. Even though a colleague of mine spotted a van at the bottom near the BP garage yesterday. Claims this was a white van as shown in the webpage.

Round my way in Norfolk the Blue vans are tax disc ones and the White ones are the speed trap ones
may be worthing checking as i have panicked a couple of times with the Blue ones while being 'fractionally' above the limit but never had a NIP through.
Regards
Mitchell
